Funerals help us acknowledge death and allow us to express our pain. It lets us share our memories of the person who has left us. I will help you say goodbye to your loved one with love and dignity, writing and conducting a service that is personalised for you and your family.
My love for my work may seem unusual, but it’s the truth. I consider it an honour to guide families in planning a funeral that truly reflects a person’s life and character. I firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their background, has the right to a dignified farewell. My military background has given me a unique perspective, allowing me to witness firsthand the profound impact of a meaningful send-off.
It’s OK not to be OK.
It’s OK that you feel lots of different emotions.
It’s OK if those emotions go from grief to anger to guilt and all those in between.
It’s OK not to hold all those emotions inside; let those pent-up feelings out.
It’s OK to stop for a bit
It’s OK to lean on someone else for a while
It’s OK to feel different to those around you
It’s OK to grieve; everybody does it in their own time and way. It’s not a race.
It’s OK to smile and laugh with one another as time moves on
But most of all, It’s OK not to be OK
