Balloons at Funerals - Yes or No?

Apparently, many ACT Funeral Directors and the Canberra public were unaware that there was a law prohibiting the release of 20 of more gas filled balloons at funeral services, according to an article published in the Canberra Times in 2019.

Similar laws apply in other states too!

Balloons are mostly requested for funerals for babies and children.  However, there are many environmental alternatives to balloons.
